Common questions about pricing
What determines where my project falls in the £12k–£28k range?
Three things drive the price: the number of distinct data sources we need to integrate, the complexity of the model architecture (a single classification task is simpler than a multi-output pipeline), and whether you need edge deployment or cloud-only. After the discovery workshop we give you a fixed quote, not a range.
Do you charge for the initial call?
No. The first 30-minute call is free. We use it to understand your problem, check whether your data situation is viable and decide together if a discovery workshop makes sense.
Can I skip discovery and go straight to a model build?
Sometimes, yes. If you already have clean, labelled data and a clear success metric, we can move directly to prototyping. We will still do a brief data check, but it is folded into the build price rather than billed separately.
What happens after the 90-day support window?
You can either manage the model yourself using the documentation and runbooks we provide, or switch to our ongoing MLOps package. There is no penalty for choosing neither; the model and all code are yours.
Are there any hidden costs?
Cloud infrastructure is the one cost we cannot control. We deploy to your cloud account, so compute and storage charges appear on your bill, not ours. We estimate these during discovery and design for cost efficiency, but the actual spend depends on your traffic volume.
Do you offer discounts for charities or social enterprises?
We offer a 15% discount on all packages for registered charities and community interest companies based in the UK or Ireland. Just mention it on the initial call and we will adjust the quote.
